Happy Birthday to YOU!

 ‎5 Years ago today,our lives were changed forever! We were blessed with an adorable, sweet, vivacious gift from the Lord!  It's amazing how the Lord can give you a new, sweet little life to teach you more ways to love and depend on him.  

 This picture of Em really summarizes her personality.  The hair standing on end, refusing to be tamed by product or practice...the baring of the teeth...the bright eyes.  Amazing personality full of vigor, never wavering, always in motion.

 Looking sweet and innocent.  Be sure of one thing, there was either a scream of joy before or after this calm looking face.  :)

 Never able to hide her emotions.  Always expressive, there is never any guessing about how our Em feels. 

Anyone who spends any time with Emily knows that she is always talking.  She is always excited about something and wants to tell the world (even if she's mad this doesn't change, unfortunately).  Our prayer is that she will come to know our precious Lord and follow him with the same vivacious spirit that we now see.

 This is one of my all-time favorite pictures of Emily.  I love everything about it.  Her expression, her stance, her sweet little lips, her deep blue eyes.  She looks so calm.  I marvel at the fact that I even caught her like this.  Precious.
