Whoooosh!!

No, it's not another toilet story.  Not this time anyway.  :)
Where does the time go these days?  It seems like everyday I set out to post some great thing to this ol' blog...but, obviously that hasn't been happening!! ha!  I guess I'll just post randomly over the next little while and you'll have to pretend that you know the true order that these things happened in my life.  In fact, even I may have to pretend because sometimes its much easier that way!  Guess I'm gettin' old!!
Here's a little candid from when we went to a nearby park for a walk one evening.  Its a really nifty little park that we always enjoy.  It has a nice, little creek that the trails run by and I don't think we've ever taken the same trail twice!  Not that we were lost, but it was more of an "explore" type thing.   There is also a neat old barn that you can see a corner of in the picture of the sun setting.  This park has  a lot of great green spaces for taking outdoor pictures.  Sometime in the near future the kiddos and I WILL get there for such an event!
Caleb was trying his hand at taking some photos and had the difficult task of taking a picture of Brian and I.  You would think that taking the photos of the two adults in the family would be a piece of cake....ah-ha, but you forgot to consider that one of those "adults" is Brian.  :)

The last picture is more serious, but you can see the mischievous look in Brian's eye and my forced smile as I anticipate his next antic.  I guess we'll have to keep trying, and I think Caleb will be getting lots of practice with the camera!
So, if you wonder why I am the way I am, think of this...this is what I deal with...5 children and my adult child. lol! Lots of lovin' and lots of laughin'.

  1. Haha!! Love the comical shots of you and Brian! Those are awesome. His face is so expressive. Thanks for sharing those. That river looks just wonderful! I keep trying to find something like that around here where the kids are allowed to play, but I keep coming up empty handed. Love all the photos!!
