Random Facts - Wednesday
As a mother of 5, I often get distracted. For example...
...Child # 3 needs help upstairs, while en route to help...discover...
...Child #5 went to "wash her hands" and needs some encouragement to not play in the water, which leads you to discover that...
...Child #2 did a terrible job cleaning the bathroom mirror because...
...Child #1 had taken the window cleaner outside to spray on bees that were attacking the fort, discovered by...
...Child #4 who came screaming into the house because he is terrified of being stung.
All of that to say that sometimes when I sit down to write on this blog, I have a hard time dedicating a solid space of time to one continuous thought. So I thought I'd just dedicate a post to several of my scattered and random thoughts. The ones I have in between the exciting scenarios that make up my life.
So, as strange as they may be, here they are...
~ When you're 2, water always tastes better out of other peoples water bottle's or cups rather than your own.
~ I like drinking coffee...I like it a lot.
~ I do not like drinking after any of my children...I have never been that thirsty.
~ Vitamins never smell good, no matter how good they are for you.
~ Breakfast was Banana pancakes and eggs.
~ I think the name Larry is a good dog name. (don't judge me)
~ The large patch of hair that I lost on the back of my head after surgery is finally growing back.
~ Emily calls Brian "Popsicle Hayden" instead of "Officer Hayden", a slight mispronunciation issue.
~ My neighbor keeps a couch in her garage because she couldn't sell it at her Yard Sale last year... since she was asking $350 for it and probably only paid $351.96 when she bought it before measuring her room to make sure it would fit in there.
~ I know too much about my neighbor's couch because I overheard her tell everyone who asked about the couch at the Yard sale and she talks really loud.
~ My oldest son is growing OUT of size 16!!
~ I love picking food from our garden for our dinner.
~ Kids like eating salad and vegetables that they grow themselves.
~ Saying "No Ma'am" is just as bad as saying "No" when you're supposed to be following your Mother's instructions.
~ I'm out of Yellow Food coloring. (see FB status 6/01)

Haha! Great little thoughts! You won't drink after your kids??? Common... a messy toddler with food all over their face and in their mouth is one thing, but the rest? I share with my little ones all the time, maybe I'm weird. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your randomness... that is one thing I always appreciated about you! LOL! You've always been soo much fun! -Vicki
ReplyDeletethanks for suggesting cluck cluck sew. looks like a fun site and the skirt posted today is too cute. We just inherited a new to us sewing machine from one of my mom's friends... maybe I will take it for a spin!
ReplyDeleteAt least your neighbor's couch is in the garage....could be on the front porch, right?
