I SWEAR!!
Actually, it was Brian, not me.
He is officially a sworn Police Officer
for the city of _________________, Ohio!!!
After almost a year of applications, interviews, and testing. In fact, his certification was set to expire in the first week of June if he didn't get a commission as an officer. That would've meant that he would have to take make up courses and re-take the state test. This was NOT something he wanted to do.You might notice that I blurred out somethings in the picture, maybe I didn't need to, but it was kind of fun. Just pretend you're watching "Cops" and you'll feel right at home. Okay, maybe not since I didn't blur out the faces of my minor children. Work with me here people.
The "Swearing In" took place one evening in the City Council Chambers. The person who administered the oath was the City Manager while the Chief of Police witnessed. Our children were so happy to get to seethe process. Especially after they have been praying that "Papa would get a job as a Police Officer" for almost a year now.
The Police Chief gave the kids a bag full of "Junior Police Officer" badges to pass keep and pass out to their friends. They were indeed proud to share in this special moment with their Papa.

Congratulations!! Woohoo!! -vicki
