FINALLY!!

It seems like every time I have tried to take a picture of Emily, or a picture with Emily in it, it results in a blur.  She's constantly in motion...if her body is still, her mouth is moving, if her mouth is still she's making some sort of crazy face to express what words cannot.

Recently, I was talking some photos for a friend of her little girl who just turned one.  Since its sunny and nice outside these days I took advantage and set things up for outside.  It was so fun to follow her around and catch her "in action".  If you remember, last summer I painted my little kids size picnic table a delicious shade of red.  Well, that came in so handy!  It was such a bright, fun prop to use!
Since I still had the table out in the yard, I figured I'd try and see if I could get a few pictures of Emily.  Now, I must say, there were LOTS plenty of pictures that I threw out and were terrible, but thankfully, after TWO YEARS, I finally got some good pictures of Emily.  She's such a little "individual" and it was really a challenge to try and capture Emily in a way that accurately represented her.

Next on the agenda is pictures of the rest of the bunch, individually and then our whole family.  Who knows how long that will take, but we're going to give it a try!
