My 1st Picture of the day
I've decided to play along with Jaime and take a picture each day. I will attempt to post it also,but we'll see if that actually happens. I've wanted to do something like this for awhile,but never had the right opportunity. If anyone wants to play along just leave a comment, with your blog address.
Each month we visit a local nursing home. Brian shares a message from the Bible, Caleb plays the piano while the folks sing along. The kids are really the featured attraction and they are happy to bring a little joy into these folks lives.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great thing you do as a family! I remember visiting the nursing homes with CampFire and my dance troop.
ReplyDeleteMy dad preached the services at the nursing homes when I was little. I loved it! It is a very rewarding experience, but it is hard when you start losing your congragation.
