Robin Eggs
As soon as he came and told me what he'd found, I headed straight for the camera.
Just a week or so ago, I was admiring a photo much like this on a friend's blog. She lives out in the country and always has pretty pictures of birds, critters and their homes on her blog. As I looked at her picture, I thought, I sure would like to take a picture of a pretty little birds nest like that... Ho, hum and off I went about my day.
Who knew that I'd find the same thing in my little suburban back yard (or rather, my neighbor's backyard). Anyway, I was so pleased with the outcome that I wanted to share.
I love it! How exciting! The photo is great!! Did you have to do much climbing to get that shot? Love the photo, it really is beautiful. Do you have plans to print it?
ReplyDeleteI love this picture! I just love the chang in the seasons! I always get most excited for spring though! God is so good to give us such beautiful changes through out the year! I hope all is well for your family! Love in Christ!
ReplyDeleteHere's the skinny on the photo... I only had to stand on a small plastic stool to get up to the right height, but I did have to squeeze myself into a very interesting position between two branches to get the right angle.
ReplyDeleteSince I was shooting the neighbors bird nest, I printed a copy of the photo and took it over to them. They are foreigners and at first they thought that I was trying to sell the picture to them! Ha, finally they understood and took the picture happily.
I think I'll be printing a copy for myself, I am planning a layout on my wall that will include this photo and my favorite photo of a toadstool (which you can see if you watch the slideshow long enough), I have a few shots of some flowers and a hollowed out log that I'm going to include also. hmm, I guess I could share those too. ...maybe later. :)
