If You Were A Fly On The Wall...

this is what you would have seen.
The dynamic duo, Titus and Emily. A whole-lota energy in these small little bodies.

First, I must show you this really "cool" truck that Titus built. He wanted Uncle Kyle to know that the cement truck was going to get some big dirt because it was all out and the road was not built yet. Also, he had to go right away to get the dirt before Emily woke up from her nap because she would spill the dirt and make a mess.

Thankfully, he was not talking about real dirt, this time anyway.

Here are the two renegades who snuck into the family room with their sippy cups, which is a "no-no". Believe it or not, what they've done with the table is not outlawed, they did have permission to turn the picnic table into a slide. When its 12 degrees outside there is a need for creativity.

Meet Houdini, also known as Emily. She has an infatuation with getting into and out of small, tight places. She is also famous for being able to get out of any shopping cart buckle in existence. She doesn't try to stand up or get out she just wants to turn around and face the directions we're traveling. In case you're thinking...maybe she gets cart sick from facing backwards....that's a nice idea, but its really so that she can greeet all the people that we pass in the store. All the people, yes, every one must tell her "hello" or she will continue to say "hi" or "hello" until they do respond. She also is in that funny stage of closing her eyes when being photographed. Even though I didn't say "smile" or anything, she still does it.
I can't wait to see how well it goes when we get our family pictures taken. --Whenever that is.
Oh, and one more really cool truck picture. In case you're wondering, this is a garbage truck that also has a secret room. I'm not sure what the secret room is for and neither was Titus, but it had one anyway.
I, personally, like the fact that it has shovels on both ends, I'm sure that must come in handy. Unfortunately, we'll never know for sure because about 17 seconds after I took this photo a wild and turbulent storm came through the family room and left a large path of destruction in its wake. I was asked not to photograph the aftermath because it was "too sad for the Lego mans Mom". I guess he died in the storm, but I couldn't get clarification so I'm still searching for some closure here. Okay, maybe not, but I was trying to get into this Lego scenario. I don't get out much. That explains a lot.

Thanks for bearing with me. 'til next time.

  2. Love these photos... love seeing the kids playing. The photos of the trucks are great, the lighting looks nice, especially the first one. I thought it so hilarious that your sippy cups look just like mine, ESPECIALLY because they have a Sharpied name on them! Ha. We have that here also... I thought that was so funny. Ours is because our church nursery requires that we label our children's cups. Great post! My kids love playing with those type of legos.
