Hacking, coughing and napping
is just about all that's been going on for me these days. I've been fighting bronchitis and pretty much losing for the last two weeks. I've been to see the doc and came home armed with multiple prescriptions, but all of this has left me with the energy of a houseplant. Thankfully, Brian has been working 2nd shift so he's been a tremendous help during the day. The children are so sweet and try to let me rest whenever they can. As many of you know, a mother doesn't have a lot of time to get sick. This time is no exception!! I'm trying not to get frustrated, but it is so hard. All of my plans are getting messed up. I guess that's my own fault, I need to remember to give up MY plans and give them to the Lord. He will help me accomplish the things that he wants me to do.
Yesterday, I did spend some time taking pictures of lots of things that I'm planning to list on eBay in the near future. I have such fun selling things there to make a little extra money for various and sundry things. Of course, I have Christmas gift projects that I need to be working on also, but I think I still have plenty of time for those. Before I get to engrossed in those I have to reorganize my extra bedroom . We previously used our 4th bedroom as our schoolroom, but since its upstairs its not very practical when I need to be close to the toddler and the three year old who are playing downstairs in the family room. We will be having quite a bit of company in the next couple of months and that room will also be where we set up our guest room. It's important to me to have things well in order long before our guests arrive, so I'm praying that I'll be better and stronger soon so I can accomplish this.

She went on to try and pull it around with her teeth.
I wonder what type of nutritional deficiency this signals? ?
Being sick stinks. I'm praying for you!
ReplyDeleteUgh.... we have the crud here now too. But I am thankful, it had been a looooong time since we had been sick. I hope I don't get it, I can get the respiratory illnesses quite bad and then I too need to go see the doc and return with a small pharmacy. :( Love the photo of the biting! Hey, did you have any more luck getting a sharp photo near a window? Miss you!
ReplyDeleteNo new pics near a window, but that's only because I haven't even tried. After 2 weeks of this bronchitus stuff I'm still not better, but the doc is calling in more drugs, so hopefully the end of this is near!
