Expression
Expression is not something that this child struggles with. Thankfully, in this picture she was just making a funny face and she wasn't actually having the attitude that you might think would accompany this face. That's not to say that she doesn't ever have the attitude that goes with this face, after all that's probably why she's so good at making all of these faces. She's such a creative child.
You've heard the phrase "She/He's too young to understand." After viewing these photos my response to that becomes an even stronger... "THAT IS SUCH A CROCK!!"
Here sits my darling little 16 month old daughter sweetly demonstrating the demeanor of the dark side! She's never had a lesson, not so much as even a little lecture on the subject. Yet clearly, she's an expert.
What sweetness.
She is sweet, when she wants to be. Just like me, but just like her I don't always make that choice. I pray that the Lord will guide me as I teach her to make right choices. So that this verse may be true in her life and the life of my other children.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15
(BTW, none of these photos should be evaluated for photographic quality. Snapshots plain and simple)

Awww... so cute! Her hair is sooo straight! But it looks like she has a lot of it for her age! I love the hot pink sweater! Very cute. Commmonnnn.... no photographic critiquing? You're no fun at all! Just kidding, totally kidding... I love snapshots!! I love the focus in #3... that's how my mind feels sometimes. Hey, I was wondering, does she have a chronic runny nose? Or did she have a cold? If it's chronic, you should try eliminating milk or other food items... ever since Malachi's reaction, a few other mothers have been noticing things with their children too. I like the lighting! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteThankfully, she just has a cold. She's not a big milk drinker anyway, actually I think she'd rather go without a drink. We often give her rice milk since that's what Titus drinks mostly. Another common allergy that sneaks in is a soy allergy. They stick soy in EVERYTHING! Alot of breads have soy flour, mac n cheese and a few other kid fave's have soy in them too. As a baby we steered clear of soy too and that made a HUGE difference for Titus. You could pass that on too, duh, not like this is a private email. lol. ha.
ReplyDeleteSoon I'll post some pics for you to CRITIQUE until you're blue in the face!
