A Little Time Away...
...with friends. Can you believe it?! I get to go away for a night and a day by myself. Well, not exactly by myself, I'm actually going with 12 other women from our church. We're not doing anything fancy or outlandish. The gist of it is, we're getting a hotel room and we're hunkering down near an outlet mall. We're going to relax and shop a little and just hang out. its going to take me a couple of hours at least to get my Mama Brain to slow down and enjoy itself, but I'm up to the challenge. I've even been hawking stuff on our friendly online marketplace (eBay) to give myself a little spending money. The Lord is so generous and has blessed me with good sales, so I have more to spend than I thought possible! Even though Brian is working a 3rd shift another friend graciously (and bravely) offered to keep my children so that I could go on this grand adventure! You should probably pray for her, 5 extra children in a household will bring on some sort of kerfuffle! She already has 3 children of her own, so they'll all play together and I'm sure it will be a fun time.
So, I'm off to pack my own small bag with just enough things for me. Wow, this is going to be easy and short. I'm used to packing for a lot more people! :)

Oh wow... I hope you have a great and relaxing time! I would have loved to watch your babies for you... I'm glad you have someone there who is willing to lend a hand. So... is this a ladies retreat? I mean.. it IS.. but is there going to be lessons and teaching?
