Em
Usually when I take a video it is one of those rare moments captured on film. Isn't that what we all try to do? Quick!! get the camera before little Johnny stops doing that cute or hilarious thing!Yes, that's usually how it works. That was before Emily. Emily is our vibrant one, the fiery arrow in our quiver.
SORRY, I can't get the sound to work right, it isn't supposed to sound like it does. If you want to keep it real then add some high pitched sing/screaming amidst all of the head moves. Oh, and a final SHRIEK! at the end. (Shrieking is just a part of Emily. It's like standard equipment on a car, like an engine.)
Amazingly enough, her name means " active, ardent, constant, elaborate, enduring, energetic, faithful, hard, hardworking, intense, live, loyal, patient, unconquerable, vigorous." Emily is like this all the time, it wouldn't be hard to catch this on video another time because she acts like this all the time. Now that doesn't mean she is like this ALL THE TIME, as in every waking hour, but often enough that we don't find it surprising when she acts this way. The one attribute that I would love to see and have not, is the "patient" attribute, I think that may have been a typo in the baby name book! This is our sweet and fiery Em, uncut and unedited. Enjoy a glimpse of life in our lane. (HINT: If you watch the video, you'll want to scroll to the end of the page and pause the music)
Haha...some children are given to us to really teach us something, I'm convinced. What is she here to teach you? One of our children was given to us to teach us that we are complete failures... LOL... and that we need to think outside the box!! LOL JUST kidding ... that was in his toddler years. It's all fine now. God makes all types of people and harnessing their strengths and using them for good is a constant battle. I look forward to seeing how you all mold little Em.
