Maybe...
I've turned into a once a month blogger. I always have good intentions of writing up something nice and witty to keep things up to date about our family, but alas, 3.2 million other things seem to come up! Oh well, all I can say is that I want to do better, shouldn't that count for something?
Today marks another day in my struggle for survival. Actually, it's not MY struggle for survival. It's a struggle for the things around me to survive in spite of ME! Some of you know that I'm not always the most graceful person to ever walk the earth. Sometimes just walking can be one of life's challenges. Usually, my "grace" is only challenged in the area of my body (ie: running into things that normal people miss, tripping over air pockets, misnavigating corners, etc) Well, when I'm pregnant, my lack of grace extends to the things and people around me. For the most part, the children are safe, except for the occasional accidental clubbing. The "things" in my life tend to suffer most. If anyone is in need of shattered glass just let me know. I have a special "Mama Only" glass that I use for drinking water, juice, etc on a daily basis. Its a medium sized, beautiful crystal glass with fancy shaped glass at the lower half. It's the only one we have so everyone knows that its my glass. Well, of course you can guess that I must have
broken it and yes you are too right about that! Did you know that crystal shatters into littler and tinnier and many more pieces than regular glass?? Consider yourself notified by someone who had to clean it up. It just slipped out of my hand as I picked it up from the towel where it had dried. Kablam-O, into a million smithereens as it landed on my ceramic tile kitchen floor! So, the children know to exit the room when Mama breaks something. It helps relieve the emotion of the moment for me. Now, ha, ha, I have purchased an invincible (seemingly) glass look alike, plastic tumbler. See, even the name is different "glass" vs. "tumbler". Just the name alone implies that it should be safe in or out of my grip! Just this morning a nice 3/4 full glass jar of Apricot preserves was victim of my "grace". Guess who will only be buying jam in plastic bottles for a while?? You got it baby, that's me! I swore off glass this very day. Whenever possible it will be a factor in my purchase decision. Now these are just two examples of the things that I have broken lately, believe me there are more. I don't have to describe all of my failures to you do I?? Just a few should do for now. Praise the Lord, my "grace" has not extended itself to any of our vehicles or such.

I do have an ultrasound on Monday afternoon, which we are hoping to be able to see whether we're having a boy or a girl. I WILL post the results before next month. :)
Haha Hohoh....thank you so much for a good chuckle. Josiah had to come in here and see what was so funny. I also broke a glass just yesterday, but that truly doesn't happen often. I just love it that you're clumsy! (Huge grin) It's totally fair you know!... If you get to be rail thin without even trying, it's only fair that you lack grace. So there. :P LOL Love you! Glad to see your new post! Let us know on Monday those untrasound findings!!
