Pictures for Papa
What do kids want to buy for their Dads for Christmas?! I always like to ask the children if they have any ideas about something they could give to their Papa as a gift. It's always fun to hear the "interesting and impossible" gift ideas that they have. "How about a water gun? How about some camouflage clothes and face paint? Could we buy him a new remote control airplane?" They usually
have to gush out all the outlandish ideas before we get down the the realistic options. This year they all wanted to have their pictures taken together to give to him for his wallet and to take to work. I was more than delighted to help them out with that! After all, I was planning to take their pictures anyway! Now that they thought it was just their own idea, maybe I'd get better cooperation?
Everyone was mostly cooperative. Titus has a pretty small window of photography patience, so I just did what I could with him! I was really pleased with how they came out. I know they could've been better, but this was a one morning shoot. The kids were pleased with how they came out too and that makes it fun for them
so they were excited to give their gift to Papa. It was also fun to give them out to Grandparents and Aunts & Uncles. These kids seem to have a following of folks who just love to get picture after picture! I'm glad to give pictures of my special gifts.
How cute are those pictures?! Love it, love it. I especially love those boys' sweaters!! Sophie looks radiant, as always! I just love her hair and her little smile. She's always had such nice hair. And isn't it just impossible to take pictures of a one year old?! IF they are holding still enough, there is undoubtedly a finger or two in their mouth. Hee hee. Makes me wonder how exactly it is that we have baby pictures from the beginning of the century when you KNOW those tots had to hold STILL when that shutter was open. Hmm. Maybe they had invented the flash by that time. Interesting. Anyway, I love your family shoot!! :) Thanks for sharing!!
