Look what we made!!
Today, Sophia and I made her a pair of decorated flip- flops. She has always been a shoe girl, so it's only natural that she has a deep admiration for the flip-flop's that are so popular these days. I don't mind her wearing them, but I did mind the price that I found for decent ones that met her fashion sense. Sorry, but I'm not paying 15 dollars just to satisfy the fashion wantings of a 6-year old! We went to the store and found all of the ribbon and flowers that Sophia liked. Today, we got out the glue gun, scissors, and wha-la! We have flip-flops! Sophie is very pleased and can't wait to wear them out and about. I, on the other hand am going to make a pair or two and see if I can sell them on ebay! :)
